Thanks guys yeh I was pretty pumped about both developments. My dr said last week I should wait 4-6 weeks before resuming normal activities. But since the pain is nearly gone from my foot, I am going to start some running. Get it?
Anyway, yeh I took a job in Santa Monica for a company that does the same thing as my old company but I'm getting a sweet salary hike and its closer to home. I am planning to get a bike and ride in to work sometimes, so James I will be lowering my carbon impact on the world.
Woohoo!! Congratulations! Just be sure to spend the extra salary on wise things - or it will undo the lesser distance traveled and we call that the rebound effect.
