Fridays are not the best days for my runs sometimes because I take Thursdays off. However, the rest must have done me good cause I felt really good about my run. My legs were a little stiff overextending my stretches and poses during my last yoga class, so it was actually running that helped my legs feel better, instead of the other way around.
Tried a starch-free breakfast (coconut milk yogurt with blueberries) and this aided me in running well I think.
