90:31 (9:03)
Got this week off to a smashing start with a 10k PR yesterday and then an easy 10-miler today. Ran with a friend out at Manhattan Beach trail. Started out barely moving and then gradually progressed up to 7:34 for the last mile. I hit 142.26 miles in May, up from 84 in April. It's a pretty big leap, but last year I was averaging in the 140s for 5-6 months. Last April I did 102 miles and 152 miles in May. One thing I noticed is that my average pace has increased from last year from 8:50-9:15 miles to 8:30 to 8:45 miles. This month I am thinking I will do a cycle of 35-38-40-35 or something like that. Later I'm going to really crunch some numbers in Excel with pivot tables and graphs. I like analyzing this kind of stuff.
Mile splits:
10:52, 9:14, 9:08, 18:21, 8:55, 8:52, 8:41, 8:54, 7:34
