12:17 for the 1.4-mile loop of Pre's plus a .2-mile detour to the bathroom and back, then the 1.5-mile loop in 11:34 and 11:31. Had a lot of crap going on, like sunscreen (and a bug, it turns out) in my eye, and my stomach hurt and it was pretty hot.

So I have a Prefontaine shirt I wear sometimes. I wore to work the other day. A few people commented on it. Both of them called him the wrong name. One called "Fontaine". The other "Lafontaine". Both had seen the movie Without Limits (and couldnt remember the name of the movie of course). I thought that was kind of interesting.

ReplyDeleteI'll post a photo next time i wear it. It's a nike one so it's a bit commercial. It had this little livestrong yellow thing on his wrist but i stripped it off cuz it was so bright yellow. I at least feel like a runner when i am wearing it.
