Yeah! 5 minutes longer than the other day. I am going to rather rapidly increase the amount of time I am running for by about 5 minutes each time, short of there being a major reason for not doing so. Once I get to around 10K I will concentrate on time and start going more than 3 times a week. Despite running further, today was not as hard.
Today I recieved a large envelope from the 10K people in question, the Great Manchester Run (33,000 runners). It featured my race number, a magazine, loads of leaflets and my ankle microchip. The surprising news is I am starting with the fastest, earliest wave of amateur runners (out of 5 waves), which means I start the same time as the pro men! Wow.
