Track workout. 2x1000. 5-6 min recovery between. Convinced a friend of mine from the Flyers to join me. He's an 18 low 5k guy. 1000s are tough to run. The second 400 really sucks. It's hard to pace. I am pretty pleased with the results though. We decided to throw in a 200 for the hell of it and I ran my fastest 200 (31) in a couple years. Felt really good. Here are the times:
1000 -3:20 (78, 82, 40)
1000-3:25 (80, 85, 40)
200-31

The winner of today's Dubai Marathon ran his last 1000m in 3:38. He won $250,000 for the performance.
