Headed out to Manhattan Beach wood chips for a nice easy run. It was pretty hot out. Maybe not 90 degrees like Eugene, but I ran at 3pm, so it had to be close. I wanted to ease into the run and then close strong with a sub-7 minute mile. I felt pretty good throughout on this run. I am feeling strong after logging all that mileage in Eugene. In one 7-day stretch from June 24-30, I did 48 miles. That's definitely most I have ever done in that time frame. Anyway, here are the mile splits:
9:17, 8:26, 8:19, 8:24, 8:34, 8:02, 4:05, 6:57
