4 mile tempo in 27:27 (6:52) with another Flyer on the track. Splits were 6:52, 6:54, 6:50, 6:51.About 20 seconds slower than what I ran last week. But I wasn't really trying to replicate that same pace. It turned out to be right at my half marathon goal pace (6:52). This one felt pretty good although my shoe came untied on the third lap and I had to stop to tie it. I kept the clock running and caught up to my running buddy a lap later. That lap turned out to be my fastest. I think the second one was a bit slow cuz I was babbling too much.
2.25 warmup, 1.75 barefoot in the grass cooldown.
