Workout with the Flyers. I wanted to do a 5k TT in 19 or under. It was cold and rainy and I had a group of 3 other guys willing to run with me on the track. Only problem was my stomach muscle thing flared up and I decided to bail out after 2400 meters. After about 800 meters it really started bothering me and I toughed it out for awhile. The effort I was expending was getting higher and higher and the times were getting slower and slower. After about 5-6 minutes, I decided to do a 3200 in a tempo effort and that went better. I need to really strengthen my core and do more stretching for my groin because that seems to be the trigger for the issue.
