2 minute+ improvement! Alison tutored me through some non-running equipment exercises beforehand and maybe that was a good warmup. I realised that if I were running outside I would never take so long to build up my speed as I have been doing, so I went up to a high speed within 2 minutes and just slowed down a bit towards the end. At this rate I might catch up to my PR for 5K soon (and that run, in late '09, was a bad day!)
I dropped my towel before I even had chance to use it, I suppose that helped recreate the outdoors too.
