Steve - 6.25

Track workout. Finally did a real track workout instead of a tempo run since I'm trying to do either tempo or fartlek on Saturday from now on. Working out with a group that was doing 3x(1200, 400r, 400, 150r). It's actually kind of a tough workout. I managed 4:27, 4:29, 4:27 for the 1200s. For the 400s I managed 78, 80, 80. Felt OK, had to push a bit on the tail end of the 1200s. I'm running a mile race on the track this weekend. Nike is doing some event in Santa Monica and I want to see what I can do. There should be 15-20 people or so running sub 6 pace. I'm gonna shoot for 5:20. That would be 80 second 400s. I think I should be able to do that. I kind of had my mind on that during the workout as I didn't want to run any slower than 80 for 400, but not too much faster either. 400, 400, 400, 450
