26:55 (?? pace)
The hoffman calculator isn't working and I'm not at home so I don't know what our exact pace was. Felt alright on the run. A bit tired and sluggish but that wasn't from the running. I finally walked to the library yesterday and got a library card and checked out a book by Lee Child called '61 Hours'. I love the Jack Reacher novels so I'm excited to read this one. I also randomly saw 'Once A Runner' while I was looking for my book. Yay for running!

You posted this four minutes before I posted my run! And 26:55 / 3 = 8:58 per mile; I don't know why you need a calculator for that, much less one with a weird name.
ReplyDeleteHaha yeah I saw your draft saved so I read some before you posted it.

ReplyDeleteI recently started using goodreads.com and just added Once a Runner to my to-read list. Woo!
ReplyDeleteI finally looked at your to-read list, James, and I have read like six books on there, which is pretty amazing because I have read in the neighborhood of seven books in my entire life*. Other than the running books I was excited to see Lockpick Pornography on there, though I like Comeau's book "It's Too Late To Say I'm Sorry" more. Also I believe you have a shirt from him. It's gray.
ReplyDelete*okay maybe a bit more
Hah, wow! Yes I wear that shirt often. I didn't realise it was from the same person! I borrowed that book from a friend about a year ago and it was right up my alley, as you can probably imagine. I'll have to get that other book if I can.
