Started out really slow, last 3 miles were faster. 1 mile barefoot on the grass.
Yesterday Zack and I went on a hike here, and it ended up being about ten miles total. On the way back we jogged bits of it (we were both wearing our trail running shoes) and it was a lot of fun. Definitely a workout, and I felt it on today's run, but I didn't count it as mileage since I was wearing jeans.
That's a lot of green on gmaps there! Way to show us up even with the walking. What sort of animals/things did you see? Did you find it a mentally cleansing experience?
