I headed back out to Santa Monica for a nice run along the beach and the grass. The tempo was uphill (about 150 feet) for the first 2.05 so my first split was a bit slow (14:33, 7:06 pace). Coming down that same hill I did 13:44 (6:42 pace). It all added up to 6:54 pace, which I think is good considering it's on grass. It's not long grass because it's a popular running spot, but it's still slow.
