Steve - 7.7

I wanted to do a 6 mile tempo today on the track, but after 3 miles I kind of started falling apart and stopped after 5. Time was 35:16 (7:00, 7:00, 6:58, 7:08, 7:09). The times certainly slipped for the final 2 miles. One mile barefoot cool down. I'm going to a chiro/therapist guy tomorrow who apparently has helped a lot of runners with hip issues. Hopefully he can fix whatever is ailing me. I have a race on Sunday that is a 5K and a road mile an hour apart from each other. Should be fun. I'm going to run the 5K as a tempo and then see what happens in the mile.

  1. Not bad on the tempo. 5-6 miles is a fairly long tempo anyway. Good luck on the races.
