Chris - 3.47

I hate this stupid IT band injury! I'm mulling not running until I rehab it enough so it isn't so weak that half my run is shitty. Except I don't want to fall behind all of the work I put in this summer to get fast. This sucks.

I went and got Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 on the way home from work. So excited to play it!

  1. You might want to think about doing a bit of cross-training; a lot of people that aren't me do that to stay fit without running much. Swimmin', bikin'.

  3. i'm in the same boat man. dont want to take time off to lose fitness, but need to take time off to heal up. what i found is taking time off doesnt really do anything. i still feel exactly the same. so now i just try to do rehab stuff while not doing any runs longer than 6-7 miles. seems to be helping, actually. i think making my hamstring more flexible is really helping my hip.

  4. So is the best selling game ever up to the hype? During my run on Tuesday I dropped by a friends house who said he would be there all afternoon, and he was not because he went out for FIVE MINUTES just to see if he could buy that game. He hadn't reserved it so of course there were none.

  5. Yeah it's pretty amazing. I've been staying up too late like every night since I got it. The graphics are great, the online gameplay is incredibly varied and addictive - there's so much to unlock and personalize. I'd recommend it in a heartbeat to anyone who likes FPS.
