Just got in something quick cuz I didnt have much time. About time to order another new pair of shoes. Im closing in on 500 miles for my current pair. They are still in good shape though, so I'll keep them in the rotation.

  1. How do you keep track of all the miles and know when to get a new pair? Is 500 miles pretty standard for them to break down?

  2. I just checked and mine are over 600, but they still seem okay...

  3. Yeh I seem to remember 500 being the number where they were start to wear down. But if you run on trails and stuff a lot, I think you get a lot more life out of them. I track all my mileage in my shoes on Flotrack.com. It has a shoe tracker so you can keep track on diferent shoes. I think they also last longer if you dont run in the same pair two days in a row.

  4. Yeah that makes sense. I keep track of mine in an excel spreadsheet. And I only have the one pair of running shoes so that makes that easy.
